ACLAS Technics moved into a new 14,500 sq.ft. facility near Edinburgh Airport in mid-2014, receiving its FAA accreditation on the day before the official opening
In 2008 the acquisition of the remaining shares from the company directors meant the company became a wholly owned subsidiary of the newly formed ASL Aviation Group.
Four years later in June 2006 the name was changed to align with its parent, Air Contractors (ACL) Ireland
The company’s history dates back to 2002 and the formation of Aeroscot Engineering to meet the needs of airlines operating out of Edinburgh Airport in Scotland.
